Florida Black Bear Scenic Byway is a volunteer community based organization formed to promote awareness and appreciation of the natural resources on the Florida Black Bear Scenic Byway and to inspire action to restore, and preserve the byway for future generations to enjoy.

Florida’s experience with cherished landscapes and wildlife has defined, and shaped Florida’s national character and identity for generations. As Florida grows, suitable habitat for Florida Black Bears and other wildlife shrinks along with our landscape.

Florida Black Bear National Scenic Byway has helped to preserve this cherished landscape with wildflower growth, wildlife underpasses, educating future generations/visitors through our kiosk program and countless hours at events such as Florida Wildlife Festival.

Your generous contribution will be used to help save the Wildlife by being an advocate for Wildlife Crossings, educating the public and future generations about the importance of Wildlife Crossings, also the importance of the byway.

With your help and the help of many City, State and Federal agencies we can preserve Florida Black Bear National Scenic Byway for further generations.
